I thought the Battle of Bastards was good, but the newest battle might take the top spot on my list of favorites. It feels like seven seasons worth of army building, betrayal, and deaths have led to this moment for Daenerys. I don’t think any of us will forget how Drogon decimated a large portion of Jaime’s army at a single word: Dracarys.
That’s not all. Sansa and Arya finally have their reunion in Winterfell and it’s not as sweet as they hoped. The sweet Arya she knew is no more, and Sansa can only silently grieve the loss of her baby sister. Not going to lie, I thoroughly enjoyed Arya’s duel with Brienne. It was extremely satisfying to see her skills in action. With the Night King approaching, she’ll need all the experience she can get. Tune in on August 13 to find out what’ll happen next on Game of Thrones.
