The VMAs kick off this Sunday to celebrate the accomplishments of music artists of this past year. We’ll be seeing some familiar faces, from those we haven’t see in a while to others that have dominated the headlines. But before those artists can be honored, all eyes will be on the red carpet and those that are strutting it.
Unlike red carpet events like the Cannes Film Fest or Golden Globes, where the dress code is usually timeless, the VMAs has a signature red carpet vibe. Celebrities aren’t afraid to pull out all the stops and wear outrageous colors, prints, and textures, does Lady Gaga’s 2015 meat dress ring a bell? Some might opt out of wearing a dress altogether and don shorts or pants. Some might be covered up, while others might be wearing little much of anything.
