If you thought the writers on American Horror Story were going to stop at our deepest darkest fears, you must have gotten a rude awakening last week. Unlike previous episodes that played on our phobias, like fears of clowns, holes, and blood, this episode dealt with a very real and present threat to our daily lives: mass shootings.
While I won’t spoil the previous episode in case you aren’t caught up yet, I would like to drop a trigger warning for this particular episode in light of the recent shootings.
While we don’t have a lot of information on tonight’s episode, I can only guess it’ll have to do with violence towards women considering the mention of Valerie Solanas, a radical feminist that attempted to murder Andy Warhol back in the 1960’s.
