As many of you probably know, Selena Gomez recently released a new single called “Wolves” with the help of DJ Marshmello. If you haven’t heard it yet, do yourself a favor and listen to it ASAP.
Gomez has been teasing the new song all week, including sharing funny photos and reposting the lyrics for fans. “Wolves” will totally make you want to get up and dance, but the lyrics are pretty personal, romantic and emotional.
Fans are loving it, but of course, they do have their critiques. Aside from many people questioning if wolves are actually found in the jungle as Gomez sings, fans have some commentary about the cover art for Gomez’s new release.
People are joking about Gomez being cheap and many are even comparing it to Disney Channel’s Mackenzie Falls poster.
Honestly, I personally believe that it looks like a collage I would’ve made in middle school to reflect my love of the pop star as well as my “darker” and “artsy” side with the help of the cutouts from J-14 and printouts from Google Images, but maybe that’s a tad harsh.
Fans are loving the single though, which is what really matters, right? Gomez will be climbing the charts once again soon enough.
Here are a few of the best Twitter reactions to the art.
But of course, there are people who disagree and are loving it.
What do you think of the album cover?
