In the second episode of the Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, we saw Rebecca plotting her revenge against Josh Chan, the one that left her at the altar on their wedding day. She needs a plan that will wound him, not kill him, and will give her closure. So, what is her plan?
Thanks to Paula, Rebecca is going to sue Josh for emotional distress. Interesting idea. It will fulfill most of her criteria: it’s public, it will embarrass Josh and Rebecca will get to keep a sense of moral dignity.
Did Rebecca’s plan work? No. Are we surprised? Instead of just confronting Josh for closure after he left a note on the day of their wedding to end things, she made things a lot worse. Rebecca hurt Josh and his family. If you ask me, that is not revenge.
