Jane has a sister! Yay. What is her name again? There is a lot of uncertainty in the Villanueva family. First, the new baby girl needs a name. Picking a name is the hardest part, but for Rogelio…well it is extra difficult because he wants to pick the perfect name. After testing out three or four names, Rogelio and Darcy finally pick one. Are you ready for this? Baby. Yep. That is the name they decided on. I thought Amada was a beautiful name, but that name is out of the picture because that is Ryan Goslings daughter’s name. Bummer. Baby’s middle name is “Michaelina” and I have to say, I love it. Jane cries. Rogelio cries. Everyone cries. We miss Micheal! Can he come back to life, please?
Now that we have a name for the new family member, on to Jane and Adam’s relationship. After Adam told Jane that he was freaking out, they decided to take a break from each other. For a week. But, their week of separation gets interrupted when Mateo FaceTimes Adam and wants to come over to play. First of all, how did Mateo learn how to do that? Oh, from Rafael’s friend…that’s right. When Mateo and Jane come over, Mateo starts acting crazy by throwing a tantrum and screaming he hates everyone. This is parenthood, Adam. Are you sure you are ready for this?
Jane calls Adam later that night to apologize for Mateo’s behavior. But, when Adam said he can “put up” with it. Jane loses control and shuts down. She doesn’t want anyone to just “put up” with Mateo. But, of course, Adam didn’t mean to say it that way. And when Jane was about to call it off, he asked for one more day. So, she can think about it. She agreed. After a long conversation with Alba, who is #TeamAdam, she talks to Adam. their conversation ended with a long, loving, kiss and I think this relationship is defined.
However, that was not the most shocking scene of the episode…we see Rafael in a parking lot talking to Katherine, who is supposed to help get his hotel back. They have been intimate before, but Rafael was doing it just to get a deal from her because he knew she had feelings for him. He was using her. Rafael explains to her that he doesn’t want a romantic relationship with her anymore, just strictly a business relationship. It seems Katherine appreciated his honesty, got in her car, and hits Rafael with her car. What the…
Are you guys freaking out? Or am I the only one? If Rafael is dead, I am done. Jane can’t handle that and I don’t think I will be able to handle that either.
