It is crazy to think that we are more than halfway through the third season of the popular television show, Outlander. But, it seems we are just getting to the main event of the story. How is that possible? Last weeks episode was all about the sea voyage to Jamaica.
Young Ian was kidnapped so the search for him will continue. Jamie makes Claire promise that she will continue the search. Without him, if it comes to that.
Claire shouldn’t be too quick to jump into Jamie’s ship bed because he gets horribly seasick. Not too long on the sea, Jamie starts to heave. Therefore, Clarie is forced to dine alone with the captain of the ship. While Claire is sitting awkwardly, dining with the captain, Jamie is below deck feeling ill and giving Fergus advice about his relationship with Marsali. Not the right time, Fergus.
The next morning, Jamie is feeling better. And there trip overseas continues. As days continue on, the ship stops in the middle of the ocean, abruptly. Why? It seems they have lost the wind to keep moving. Great. When they finally find a way to move the ship, there is an outbreak. Typhoid fever. Talk about timing…
As Claire tries to help mobilize the crew and get the healthy again, the ship starts to move. So, the captain of the ships takes Claire with him because he needs to make it to Jamaica. And that’s how it ends.
