The news of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s engagement shook the internet earlier this week and, to be honest, we’re still shooketh. It’s truly a story out of The Princess Diaries and we can’t get enough of this cute couple. As England’s Royal Family prepares for the upcoming wedding, which we’re hoping will be broadcast for all to see just like William and Kate’s special day, Prince William took a minute to speak with the press about the engagement.
He started off very professionally and Prince-like, saying, “We’re very excited and delighted for them both, and wishing them all the happiness at this very exciting time.”
Great, Will (can I call you Will?), but tell us how you really feel. He then added, “and for me personally, I hope it means he stays out of my fridge, and it’ll stop him scrounging off of my food. He’s done it for the last few years.”

The sass of it all! We love the brotherly antics and, tbh, aren’t surprised by this at all. He returned back to his Prince-self by explaining how in love the two are, saying “Yes, absolutely, and it’s a fantastic process to go through—The engagement, the build-up to the wedding. They’ve got a lot of happy times ahead of them in life. They are very caught up in the moment, and I wish them all the happiness and success in planning the wedding. I hope it goes really well.”
