The story is heating up in Outlander as we find Claire washed up on an island called Hispaniola, far away from Jamie and her original destination, Grand Turk. How is she going to warn Jamie about the trap that is being set up for him in Jamaica? If only they had cellphones, maybe this situation would be different. Being washed up on shore, Clarie’s first task is to find water. Can’t she just drink the ocean water? I guess not. As the days go by, she gets weaker. For the first two days, she is greeted by ants and a snake. Yikes!
But, at last, there was hope because, on the third day, she hears a man in the distance. Claire fainted before she could make it to him. Luckily, his dog found her and when Claire wakes up, she is in a proper bed with no ants or snakes surrounding her. Thank god. However, she is tied up. What? Why? Apparently, she is tied up so she won’t scratch the ant bites all over her legs. Yeah, okay. Father Fogden was the one to rescue Claire and eventually unties her, so she can have a bath and eat some dinner.
The episode ends with Jamie and his small crew arriving on the same island that Claire was on. Yay, to Claire and Jamie finally reuniting. Back on the boat, something is wrong with Claire. She is running a fever from her arm injury and needs antibiotics. What is going to happen to Claire?
