It’s Christmas time and even though everyone over the age of 13 knows that Santa Claus isn’t real we all still have to keep the facade on for the younger generation. It’s part of why this time of the year is so magical.
Santa Claus’ magical reindeer that pull his sled from house to house all over the world are just as infamous as him. Santa’s reindeer are perceived as males in all the books and movies made about the reindeer. Rudolph has a girlfriend in the movie about himself!

So it may come to a shock but Santa’s reindeer who pull his sleigh actually have to be female reindeer. According Mother Nature Network, male reindeer shed their antlers early in the winter and females shed theirs later in the winter. So by the time December 25th rolls around male reindeer don’t have antlers to pull Santa’s sled.
Twitter user Cat Reynolds is making sure that everyone knows that Santa’s sled is being pulled by a fierce female reindeer crew.
