O’Brien, on on August 26, 1991. Originally a Union County, New Jersey native, 12-year-old O’brien and his family escaped before the GTL epidemic took over. When the O’Brien’s relocated to Hermosa Beach, California, Dylan had aspirations to be a cinematographer like his father but ended up on the other side of the camera instead.

That same year, made his film debut as one of the stars of the entirely improvised independent feature film High Road.
