We’re all broke by the time Christmas rolls by. I think my holiday paycheck went missing between bills and last-minute gifts. If you’re like me and you forgot to get a little treat for yourself, then you’ll love Boxing Day.
Boxing Day is a special holiday that’s celebrated on December 26. It was originally started in the United Kingdom and was meant as a holiday aimed at service workers. The tradition was eventually adopted in the United States, although it’s considered more as a Christmas extension. Sadly, that means we don’t get extra holiday off like they do in the UK.
That doesn’t necessarily mean the US doesn’t celebrate it at all. In fact, Boxing Day operates similar to Black Friday. A ton of retailers feel the need to sell their excess holiday stock, so we’re in for some great deals on December 26.

Start looking into Forever 21‘s holiday deals starting on December 26. It’ll be your best bet at getting your hands on some of their trendy fashion items and cute jewelry selection.

For all your trendy looks and quirky knickknacks, Urban Outfitters is the place to look. You should definitely take a look at their holiday sales and limited time offers, some of which are only available online. Go check them out!
Best Buy
For all you lucky readers hailing from Canada, Best Buy has a ton of deals for you at select stores. They’ll be offering huge sales on electronics like wide screen TVs, headphones and speaker systems. If someone could grab me a PlayStation 4 system that would be great.
Nordstrom
All these sales are making me consider moving to Canada… Nordstrom is offering sales up to 50% off during their Boxing Week Sale, running from December 26 – January 2. For those of us that live in the US, you’ll still find post-Christmas sales, so don’t hesitate to take a look.
Amazon
You’ll always find a great deal on Amazon, but the best ones are during the holidays. Amazon is keeping a tight lid on the exact list of post-holiday sales, but you can bet they’ll be worth the wait. Make sure to follow their deals of the day.
Contiki
What’s even better than makeup or a new home system? How about a vacation? Contiki is offering up to 30% off of select trips to Europe and Asia. Just make sure to book it by January 1 to take advantage of this great deal.
