In honor of Mickey’s longtime girlfriend finally getting her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Torrid is paying homage to our favorite girl mouse with an exclusive line. The limited-edition line features 14 different items ranging from bow-tied sports bras, chiffon skirts and it wouldn’t be a Minnie Mouse collection without some polka dots. The collection is currently available online now, so we suggest you log in and get to it while everything is still in stock!
It’s only a few weeks into the New Year but notable fashion brand and store Loft recently teased fans of their latest collection catering to plus-sized women. Now women of all shapes and sizes will be able to buy Loft’s timeless and classic pieces that the brand are known for. Perhaps it was Chrissy Metz’s rise to fame from the hit tear-jerker series, This is Us that encouraged the new line. The actress was often seen rocking their pieces and in late 2017 Metz’s appearance on Late Night With Seth Myers confirmed Loft’s decision to expand their line. They wrote, “We are excited to launch Plus in February 2018, deepening our commitment to providing versatile, stylish and feminine clothing. We took the time to make sure the sizing, the fit and of course the fashion were exactly right, offering a great selection of styles, including the dress Chrissy wore.”
Swimsuits For All x Gabi Fresh’s ‘Resorts’ Collection
Gabi Fresh, a plus-sized blogger and co-founder of Premme, an all-inclusive clothing brand, is partnering with well-known swimsuit brand, Swimsuits For All to create a sexy line of suits for her fans and fellow plus sized women. In a recent interview about the line, Gabi said, “I’m loving deep jewel tones and metallics, and I wanted everything to have clean lines and a certain amount of simplicity, while still making an impact. Once the collection came together, there was definitely this immediate feeling that it would work really well in a jungle setting and everything kind of came together creatively from there! Of course, I always think about fit and support, so those are the foundations of everything I create.”
Game By Universal Standard
This cool e-tailer catering to sizes 10 through 28, saw such a massive success with the launch of their loungewear collection that they decided to release an activewear line. The five-piece collection uses fabrics made exclusively by the brand and was designed to prevent sweating and encourage high-performance for all types of workouts. Co-founder, Alex Waldman recently said of the brand, “Game consciously paired our expertise in fit and design with the latest technology to bring well-made, well-fitting activewear to the market. This consumer has been deprived of quality clothing across all categories, but activewear is a particularly important area from which she is often dismissed completely.”
5. Universal Thread
As if we needed another excuse to run to Target, on January 15, Target teased us all with a lookbook focused on their new all-inclusive brand, Universal Thread. While some fans were a bit panicked when they revealed that the new line will be replacing popular Target favs Mossimo and Merona, they quickly took a sigh of relief when they learned that Universal Thread will carry sizes up to a 26. Target’s VP Mark Tritton said of the brand, “Universal Thread is all about making great style available to everyone while offering unprecedented value and never compromising on quality. At the core of this brand is amazing denim based on fashion trends and firsthand guest feedback, but there’s also apparel and accessories that make it simple to create a complete look.”
