Some expand their families to six children, while the rare others have six children all at once. Courtney Waldrop was one of the rare few who just gave birth to sextuplets and two months early at that. Not twins, triplets, or quintuplets, but sextuplets. Their growing family just became a party of 11.
According to Pop Sugar, it wasn’t an easy journey for Courtney and Eric Waldrop. The couple faced a few miscarriages until they had their first son. After fertility treatments, they had twin boys. Wanting to try again, the couple continued with fertility treatments. The fact that they were able to have sextuplets is nothing short of a miracle.
Photographer Ashley Sargent captured the babies’ first few months and placed them in descending order from oldest to youngest. Oh, and of course, they were in the colors of the rainbow.
The Waldrop’s also had to give the babies unique names because their arrival was anything but ordinary. They named them Rivers, Rayne, Rawlings, Blu, Tag, and Layke. On Instagram, Sargent wrote, “Can you imagine the fear and stress you would have as a mother being told you are pregnant with six… mixed with so much joy in knowing that within you life is growing. Six miracles were born… yes, I said miracles…”
Sargent isn’t the only one who thinks the family has a story to tell, People has reported that TLC will be airing a documentary about their new life with six more children.
