The Princess of Pop, Britney Spears can now add slay queen to her long list of accomplishments as the 36-year-old just landed a major high-fashion campaign with fashion designer Kenzo. The mother of two is the newest face of Kenzo’s La Collection Memento N°2, and on Tuesday, photos of Spears modeling for the brand leaked showing Spears slaying the campaign. The second installment of the brand’s archival-inspired capsule celebrates icons and led designers Carol Lim and Humberto Leon to Spears in the first place.

The campaign was shot by renowned photographer Peter Lindbergh in Los Angeles. The brand released an official statement where they talk about how the collaboration and the shoot came together.

“What could at first seem an unusual trifecta [Britney Spears, Kenzo, and Peter Lindbergh] actually makes total sense when one learns that the collection is all about icons,” said the statement. “Britney is certainly an icon and the quintessential queen of denim. Of similar stature in the photo, world is Peter Lindbergh, whose British Vogue cover of Linda, Naomi, Cindy, Tatiana, and Christy ignited the age of the supermodel. Lindbergh captured Britney in all her American Dream glory and beauty.”  The images are meant to be read as “a bit cheeky, optimistic, and joyous,” the statement continued.

As we get a full glimpse of Spears in the photos,  we see the pop diva clad in the latest from Kenzo’s Collection Memento series, which features the brand’s signature prints, denim, and bright colors.

Spears spoke about her latest gig as a spokesmodel for the brand and talked to Vogue about the collection and the photoshoot.

“This collection is very youthful.We had fun on set, even though it was a bit weird for me at first. I am used to shooting in a studio or a small space, and this was on the street. We were out there, and I had really promiscuous clothes on, which felt odd, but of course, on film, it turned out to be really cool.”
