If you weren’t one of the lucky ones to score a ticket to the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, you’re in luck. With Meghan set to wed Prince Harry and take her place within the royal family, everyone is looking to get a glimpse of the former actress whose world is about to change.
Since the pair announced their engagement, in November of 2017, Markle’s celebrity status has shot up at record speed thrusting the former Suits actress into the spotlight. With thousands of adorning fans wanting to know the 36-year-old’s every move and dissecting the actress’ life from top to bottom, Markle’s become one of the year’s most talked about celebs and public figures of the year.
With her newly acquired status, Markle has now acquired her very own wax figure alongside her soon to be husband, Prince Harry. According to a tweet made world-renowned wax museum Madame Tussaud’s, Markle will join the ranks of her future hubby and get a wax figure of her own at the London museum.
The famous museum made the announcement in a tweet Wednesday featuring a photo of a Madame Tussauds sign parked outside of Buckingham Palace. The sign reads, “World famous Madame Tussauds London will be safely delivered of a future princess, bride to be and former queen of the courtroom in May 2018. Her Royal Likeness, Meghan Markle, will take her position alongside future husband Prince Harry in time for the wedding of the year.”

Madame Tussauds’ London General Manager, Edward Fuller, spoke about the statue in detail on the museum’s website saying, “Excitement for the royal couple’s wedding reaches across the globe so it will come as no surprise that we’ve been secretly working away on a Meghan Markle figure since news of the royal engagement broke. It’s clear that the public has already taken Meghan to their hearts. One half of arguably the most famous couple in the world right now she’s already made her own mark as a humanitarian and role model. We’re excited to give guests the chance to ‘meet’ her in attraction later this year.”
While the official release date for the wax figure has yet to be revealed, Madame Tussauds has confirmed that the figure will be ready by the time Harry and Meghan tie the knot on Saturday, May 19, at Windsor Castle.
If you’re not able to make it across the pond, no worries. Madame Tussauds New York is also making a Meghan Markle wax figure. The only difference between the statues(aside from their appearance) is that the London figure will be ready before Harry and Meghan tie the knot in May while the New York figure will make its debut this summer.
Will you be taking a trip to meet the new royal princess?
