Chrissy Teigen‘s been known to not hold her tongue on Twitter and has quintessentially become the queen of clapbacks at anyone and everyone. We’ve even seen Chrissy go in on her husband on social media.
So after Chrissy was recently questioned about why she (along with other famous celebs) didn’t take her famously hot singer hubby John Legend’s last name and has kept using her maiden name professionally, Teigen responded by saying that simply put, “My husband didn’t even take his last name.”
I'd really like to hear the reasoning behind women who won't take their husband's last name

John Legend is actually the singer’s stage name; his real name is John Stephens and changed it to Legends for his career. Back in 2008 Legend spoke about how his stage name was given to him telling MTV that his friends started calling him that back when he was first starting out as a musician and that he didn’t choose it and was a little hesitant about using it professionally.
1. Halle Berry

Halle Berry has been married three times and has remained true to her last name every time. After working her butt off to maintain her career as an established actress it makes sense that she would hold onto to something she’s worked so hard for.
2. Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey is known for her powerful voice, which has made her one of the highest selling artists of our time. So , of course,Carey held onto the name that made her famous despite being married to music mogul Tommy Mottola and Nick Cannon.
3. Heidi Klum

Heidi Klum is a successful model and businesswoman, which may be part of the reason why she never changed her name after being married twice.
4. Jessica Alba

Jessica Alba married Cash Warren in 2008 after they met on the set of Fantastic Four. Despite the couple having three children together and being married for a decade, Alba has kept her maiden name professionally.
5. Sarah Jessica Parker

Sarah Jessica Broderick doesn’t have as nice a ring to it as SJP. Parker has developed quite a name and brand for herself since starting out in the industry so changing her name at this point could have a drastic effect on her brand.
6. Drew Barrymore

The last name Barrymore is linked to the American stage and cinema royalty with Drew’s grandfather being film legend John Barrymore. It totally makes sense for Drew to hang onto her maiden last name professionally despite having been married twice and giving birth to daughter Olive.
