Everyone’s favorite 80s TV sitcom family is back and hopefully will be here to stay. Roseanne originally aired on October 18, 1988, and lasted nine seasons until it was taken off air on May 20, 1997.
The show is one of the highest ranked and watched shows ever aired. Viewers followed working mother Roseanne Connor, played by Roseanne Barr, and her midwest Illinois family navigate life. Roseanne is married to Dan and they have four children, Becky, Darlene, DJ and Jerry. The show is credited as the only show to accurately portray blue-collar American families but still had controversial storylines.
Now the Connors are back and a lot has changed, but a lot has also stayed the same. They still live in Illinois outside of Chicago in the same house. But Darlene just moved in with her two kids, Hariss and Mark because she just lost her job. Roseanne and Dan have yet to adjust to the new editions.
But that’s not all, Becky declares she is going to be a surrogate to make some spare cash and Roseanna and her BFF Jackie are in a fight. No matter what happens we are just glad Roseanne and co. are back!
