Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Kim Kardashian is planning on launching a new lingerie, intimates and shapewear line, which could put her in direct competition with the businesses of sisters Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian.
TMZ reported that Kim is working on a line of lingerie, intimates and shapewear line that will reportedly serve all shapes and sizes.
TMZ cited sources close to the reality star who reported that for the last few months, Kim has been working closely on the line and has her hands not only in the featured pieces but the design and marketing of it as well.
This comes on the heels of an announcement by Kim, Kourtney and Khloe on Thursday, April 19 that they would be closing their DASH stores.
ABC News reported the stores, which featured handpicked items by the sisters, would officially close their doors.
“After nearly 12 years, my sisters and I have decided to close the doors of our DASH stores,” Kardashian West said in a statement posted on her website.
“We opened our first store as a family in 2006 and, since then, we have made so many lifelong memories,” the statement said, “From opening locations in Los Angeles, Miami and New York, to having our ‘Dash Dolls‘ spin-off show, it’s been such a huge part of our lives.”
“We loved running DASH, but in the last few years, we’ve all grown so much individually. We’ve been busy running our own brands, as well as being moms and balancing work with our families,” the statement concluded.
TMZ reported that Kim’s new fashion line should be out by the end of 2018.
