Elizabeth Olsen is the sister of famous twins and fashion designers Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen but is making a name for herself outside of her celebrity family. Olsen is currently rising up in the acting business with her new role in the hit movie Avengers: Infinity War. The 29-year-old actress has been doing parts in small films for the past couple of years since she began in 2011 in the film Martha, Marcy, May, Marlene and then acted again in movies such as Silent House, Very Good Girls, Red Lights and many more.
Olsen always lived a normal life outside of her famous family and attended top acting schools to begin paving her way into the acting business which she started at a young age, getting featured within her sisters’ films. Elizabeth Olsen was born in Sherman Oaks, California in 1989 and has five siblings. As a child, she began taking ballet, singing and acting classes. She used this talent to her advantage and appeared in small roles in her sisters’ movies such as The Adventures of Mary-Kate and Ashley.
During her childhood, she also starred in films such as roles in How the West Was Fun, and when she was in the fourth grade, Olsen started going on auditions.

After graduating high school, Olsen went on to go to college studying theater and even went to New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, as well as Moscow Art Theater School.
In 2011 Olsen landed the lead role in Martha, Marcy, May, Marlene alongside Sarah Paulson. The film won her a couple of nominations and positive reviews as she played a girl who suffers trauma after escaping a cult.
After this, she went on to also play the lead in the remake horror film Silent House, which didn’t get very good reviews but her performance was given acclaim.
Later on, in the year she acted in the romantic film Liberal Arts alongside Josh Radner.

In 2013, Olsen acted alongside Dakota Fanning in the film Very Good Girls where they play best friends who fall for the same guy.
That same year she co-starred in the film remake of the 2003 South Korean film Oldboy, as well as acting in the film In Secret, an adaptation of Émile Zola’s 1867 classic novel Thérèse Raquin.
Olsen continued doing many genres and even landed a role in the 2014 remake of the famous film Godzilla. As well as making her way into the superhero world by playing the part of Scarlet Witch in Avengers: Age of Ultron. She, later on, got to act alongside her Avenger co-star Jeremy Renner, in Wind River.
A year later in 2015 Olsen starred in I saw the Light.

In 2016, Olsen got to act alongside comedian and actress Audrey Plaza in the film Audrey Goes West, which was released in 2017.
She returned to play her Avengers character, Scarlet Witch in the movie Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America Civil War.
It doesn’t look like Olsen is leaving the superhero movie business anytime soon as she just starred in Avengers: Infinity War and will also be in the next Avengers movie as well.
