‘DWTS’ Producers ‘Fed Up’ With Celeb’s Diva Behavior

Producers of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars are reportedly “fed up” with the diva-like behavior from one of the show’s newest competitors.

Allegedly, Tonya Harding hasn’t been playing nice while rehearsing for the latest season of the series titled Dancing with the Stars Athletes, Season 26.

She is paired with pro-dancer Sasha Farber.

Radar Online reported that a source close to the production revealed that Tonya has been a handful in rehearsals, allegedly showing a diva attitude.

“Tonya joining this season’s cast may be great for ratings, but it is a nightmare for production because she is one of the most demanding and difficult people in the industry to work with,” an ABC insider told Radar.

“She is already causing drama because she demanded an insane amount of money to come on the show after her recent movie, I Tonya,” remarked the insider.

“Generally, contestants all get paid the same set amount regardless of how long they last in the competition. But not with Tonya.

“Of course the other contestants who are competing against Tonya this season are bothered by the fact that they have to go against her.

“Everyone knows how serious Tonya takes winning,” concluded the insider.

Sports fans recall that Tonya Harding was part of a deliberate plan to keep Olympic rival Nancy Kerrigan out of the 1994 Winter Olympics.

An attack was executed on Nancy where she was hit in the kneecap by a friend of Tonya. Nancy was Tonya’s direct rival for Olympic gold that year.

After the attack, Tonya was disqualified from competing in the Olympics. Nancy Kerrigan went on to win a silver medal during the competition.

Tonya’s hard life and the attack were reenacted for the Oscar-nominated film I Tonya starring Margot Robbie.

Dancing with the Stars Athletes Season 26 begins Monday, April 30 on ABC.
