Should You Follow Kourtney Kardashian’s Ultra-Strict Diet?


Kourtney Kardashian has always been a healthy eater, but her latest ultra-strict diet trend has fans wondering if they should follow suit.

The mom of three showcased her chiseled abs in a red bra in a recent Instagram post and fans were commenting on how amazing she looked.

Kourtney, who often shares workout tips, has been following a low-carb, high-fat ketogenic diet.

She also fits daily exercise into her lifestyle. reported that the 30-year-old reality star first tried the diet back in 2017 to help her detox after it was revealed she had high levels of lead and mercury in her system.

Kourtney stated about the diet that although difficult, “it was a really positive experience for me.”

The Keto Diet is a low-carb, high-fat, moderate-protein eating plan. It restricts carbs and promotes lots of lean protein sources as your main food choices.

Because it lacks carbohydrates, a ketogenic diet is rich in proteins and fats. It typically includes plenty of meats, eggs, processed meats, sausages, cheeses, fish, nuts, butter, oils, seeds, and fibrous vegetables, according to Harvard Health.

Harvard Health also reported that one of the main criticisms of this diet is that many people tend to eat too much protein and poor-quality fats from processed foods, with very few fruits and vegetables.

Some patients may feel a little tired in the beginning, while some may have bad breath, nausea, vomiting, constipation, and sleep problems.

So far, Kourtney hasn’t revealed any side effects from following a low-ketogenic diet.

She also stays in shape by mixing up her daily workouts that incorporate cardio exercise, light weightlifting, yoga, and stretching.
