Fox’s long-running comedy New Girl is currently on it’s last and final season, and fans are not ready to say goodbye to the funny roommates. The gang is back and their all moving on with their lives to new paths, but it seems that some things don’t change as their still finding themselves in odd and awkward situations. Last week Schmidt and Cece found themselves struggling to teach Ruth how to behave for her interview to get into the prestigious school Lilypad and decide to ask Jess for help since she was once a teacher and principle she knows what the schools are looking for.
Unfortunately, Jess has her own ideas of teaching, and Schmidt doesn’t agree with the way Jess prepares Ruth for her interview. Mainly because of Schmidt’s rival whose son is also applying to get into the school as well. Schmidt was proven wrong after he said that Jess’s teachings were not going to help as Ruth was doing a great job during the interview up until the part where she had the other kids attack the teacher and create a riot in the room.
There was also trouble with Nick and Winston in the last episode as Nick decided to go to a bar to focus on writing and paid someone on eBay to go and punch him if he didn’t finish the book by the end of the day. Winston shows up to the bar to help prepare for speaking in court which he has trouble doing, and turns to Nick for help on how to practice.
This week the group of friends will gather for the funeral of Winston’s cat Ferguson in a very dramatic burial. Jess admits to Nick a secret about her and Ferguson, that will hurt Winston. Coach will also be returning for this weeks episode after his leave in season 6.
