Last week’s episode of the Real Housewives of New York City, began with a screaming match between Sonja and Dorinda at brunch about who had a harder time burying their husband. Ramona told Sonja she crossed the line. Then Luann calmed Dorinda down by telling her Sonja is on meds and gained weight so she needs some compassion. Ouch!
Carole ran the marathon and off everyone went to the Hamptons to celebrate. Ramona threw a party for Carole to celebrate the marathon except the party seems like its way more for Ramona than it is for Carole. Cue the drama.
Dennis, we’ll call him Bethanny’s boyfriend, right? She says their relationship is undefinable but they love each other. He shows up bright yellow Gucci sweater adorned with the word, “Loved” obviously because he and Bethenny love each other. It tight and he looks a tad old for it. Bethenny hates them and tries to trash them but Dorinda loves them and Dennis keeps wearing them.
At the dinner, Sonja tells Ramona shes mad at her for not standing up for her at brunch. They start yelling because that’s what housewives do! Ramona says her new thing is not worrying about when she pisses people off. We feel you, Ramona.
Carole feels like Ramona just threw a party to flirt with Kirk instead of having one for her. She’s not necessarily wrong. At the dinner table, Sonja calls out Tinsley for not paying for anything. (Sonja is on a roll!) Tinsley starts screaming at her and writes a fat check to Sonja that Bethenny burns over the candle.
For a night that’s supposed to be about Carole, it’s hardly that.
The episode ends with Sonja sending Ramona a wordy text about how she’s a bad friend. The housewives go to brunch and Ramona is sitting across from Sonja because weren’t they friends yesterday?
