January Jones is a reality TV expert. The Last Man On Earth star has talked about her love of reality TV, specifically The Bachelor franchise, in detail. She loves reality TV so much that Jones tried to celebrate her 40th birthday at Pump, one of Lisa Vanderpump’s many restaurants in Los Angeles.
Lisa Vanderpump is one of the wealthiest housewives on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and is the mother figure and boss on the series spin-off Vanderpump Rules. Vanderpump runs three restaurants, Villa Blanca, SUR and Pump, where Jones wanted to throw her party.

“I had my 40th birthday this year and I called Pump to try to do my party there,” Jones told Yahoo Lifestyle. “No one called me back.”
Jones doesn’t give up easily though. She said that she then enlisted her publicist and best friend. The trio ” called and called and called and called” Pump but no one ever picked up.
“One time I called, I got a girl and she’s like: ‘We’ll call you back.’ Nothing. I called back again, no response,” Jones said. After that she brought out the big guns, she texted Andy Cohen.
Cohen is the mastermind behind the Real Housewives and is a reality TV genius. He passed along Pump’s general manager’s number to Jones but he never got back to her.

Eventually, Jones gave up. She had her birthday party at Top Chef winner, Michael Voltaggio’s restaurant Ink.Well. Even though Jones gave up she made it known to the people at Pump that she was not pleased.
“Around New Year’s, I was going out to dinner and I said: ‘You know what, I’m going into Pump,’” she said. “I walked in there and I was like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. I was like: ‘Tried to call ya. Guess what: I’m not having my birthday party here. Big mistake. Big. Huge.'”
