Chrissy Teigen responded to a fan on Twitter that the arrival of her infant son with John Legend came “sooner” than originally expected.
A fan asked whether the couple’s son resembled his 2-year old big sister Luna Simone.
This led the model to reveal that the baby had made his appearance a little sooner than both she and John expected.
“Same nose!” wrote Chrissy of the siblings on Wednesday, May 16.
“He is a few weeks early so he’s litttttttle and makes the teeniest noises. We are in love.”
The Lip Sync Battle host announced that the couple’s second child had arrived into the world.
“Somebody’s herrrrrrre!” she announced.
The couple has not yet shared their son’s name, birth date or photo yet.
Baby boy Legend was originally due in June.
Chrissy made several quips regarding her pregnancy on the social media site.
“Any doctors here? Am I allowed to get a wax during my epidural? It’s genius and there’s a ton of time to kill anyhow,” she remarked.
She then said prior to her son’s birth that she wasn’t the happy, pregnant lady she hoped she would be.
“Happy pregnant Chrissy is gone. meet OVER IT Chrissy. Wanna hold my boy let’s do thisssssss!” she stated.
The model has been honest throughout her two pregnancies about her struggles with infertility.
She confirmed to People Magazine in January 2018 that the couple used IVF in order to conceive another child.
She explained, “We did the harvesting — as they call it — again, where they make the embryos.”
The couple knew they were having their son 11 days after treatment.
“You get the phone call and you’re like, ‘Please, please, please,’ and then you get the result and then you’re so excited,” she recalls. “It does make for a very long-feeling pregnancy because you know so early.”
“I think I randomly tweeted that you know those people where you’re like, ‘Oh, it feels like you’ve been pregnant forever,’ and you’re like, ‘Hey, screw you!’ I’m going to be that person,” Teigen says. “It feels long.”
