Meghan, a former actress, and Harry made sure all of their celebrity friends were invited to their church service to watch them take their vows of love.
Leading up to the big day, Kensington Palace had asked all invited wedding guests to stay silent about their plans to attend, but the entrance to St. George’s chapel was more like a Hollywood red carpet event!
The site reported that “Meghan and Amal have known each other for a while.”
Luther star Idris Elba attended the event with his fiancee Sabrina Dhowre.
Several of Meghan’s former Suits co-stars were also in attendance.
She starred on the USA network show for seven seasons.
Patrick J. Adams, who played her love interest arrived with Pretty Little Liars star Troian Bellisario.
Patrick tweeted his best wishes for Meghan, encouraging her to “love deeply and live well.”
Priyanka Chopra, the star of ABC’s recently canceled series Quantico, arrived at the event with Timeless star Abigail Spencer.
Victoria and David Beckham, who were guests at the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, also made a superstar appearance at St. George’s Chapel. It was rumored they also attended the private family event for the couple later in the evening as well.
Media mogul Oprah Winfrey, a friend of the couple, donned a hat by respected British milliner Phillip Treacy.
Elton John, a longtime friend of the royal family, also attended with his husband David Furnish. Elton famously sang a revamped version of “Candle in the Wind” during the late Princess Diana’s funeral.
Talk show host and comedian James Corden attended with his wife Julia Carey.
