‘The Bachelorette’ Stream: How To Watch Season 14, Episode 1 Online

Is anyone as excited about the new Bachelorette as I am? Maybe it’s just because Becca and I are from Minnesota (a state that Arie is officially banned from), but Becca is relatable. Sure, she’s on reality TV and has a wardrobe, makeup and hair stylist, but she also has a great sense of humor and an even greater sense of self.

Before you can stream the episode you should be reminded of how much Becca deserves love. I’m not going to drag this out because no one needs to relive all the awkwardness we felt during the finale of Arie’s season of The Bachelor. But it’s important to look at Becca’s journey thus far so we can appreciate the first episode of season 14.

As soon as Becca stepped out of the limo and made Arie get down on one knee he was hooked (as was all of America), though he didn’t give her the first impression rose she did receive the first rose at the actual ceremony. Not only that, but she also was given the first date card. Basically, Arie treated her to a day with a designer and she tried on a lot of dresses for him. How they connected through this, I don’t know, but they really did look smitten.

The two didn’t have a second 1-on-1 until Week 7 because Arie is the worst and made her wait. As the final weeks rolled by it became clearer and clearer that these two were meant to be. Then hometowns came and we got to see the glorious state of Minnesota on national television, oh, and Becca and her family were super classy. Week 9 was uncomfortable because Becca’s ex-boyfriend showed up in Peru, and Arie got really territorial which is not a good look on him (but then again, is there anything that does look good on him?). Becca handled the whole situation maturely and sent her ex packing.

Then came the finale. Which I’m sure no one wants to relive, so let me just say this: Arie is irrelevant. At the end of the two-night special no one even cared that he and Lauren B. got engaged, not because of animosity, but because they are the two most uninteresting people in America and we just wanted more Becca. She’s also an outspoken feminist, which reality TV really needs.

Just look at all these women supporting women!!! It’s going to be a great season. I only hope that if she finds the Peter to her Rachel she won’t let him go for a Bryan.

Don’t miss a moment. Here’s how you can keep up with The Bachelorette.
