Last night’s episode of The Bachelorette wasn’t the standard two-hour episode Bachelor Nation was used to seeing. Fans were expecting drama surrounding David going to the hospital, a few group dates, some kissing and a rose ceremony. The episode started off seemingly normal and then it took a turn for the worse and fell into a burning pile of ash.
First off, the episode was rudely interrupted by President Donald Trump and Kim Jong-Un. The two leaders met at the North Korea summit and ABC cut to the historic event in the middle of the episode.

Trump and Jong-Un met, shook hands and claimed all went well. Bachelorette fans were not happy that ABC decided to interrupt the Bachelorette for news coverage. We actively chose to watch The Bachelorette instead of these two people for a reason!
The only plus side was the hilarious Trump and Jon-Un Bachelorette-inspired tweets that came from this unwelcomed intermission. Jokes aside, fans were not about this unwelcomed interruption.

I had an amazing one-on-one with Kim Jong Un and I feel he really opened up and showed his vulnerable side so early in the process. I gave him the 🌹 because I'm excited to see where this journey might take us. He could be the one I can finally make a deal with! #TheBachelorette

Whoa, Trump and Kim are going behind closed doors? This went from a 1-on-1 date to a fantasy suite very, very quickly! #TheBachelorette #NorthKorea #NuclearSummit

The political disturbance wasn’t the only thing that pissed off Bachelorette fans. Remember that dramatic, blood spilling fight that we were promised? Well, we never got it. The trailer and beginning of the episode were edited to make us believe that Jordan (model) beat the crap out of David (chicken suit guy).
After David told Becca that Jordan was bragging about having over 4,000 tinder matches (gross) Jordan said that David will get what’s coming to him. The thoughts of the ambulance from the preview in the back of every viewer’s mind.
Cut to the drama with the ambulance. The boys are all rattled about the blood, so much blood. They are hoping David makes it out alive. Then we see Jordan who totally doesn’t give a shit about David being wheeled out on a gurney. Then Chris invades Becca’s private suite to tell her what went down. Jordan simply rolled and fell out of his top bunk. He smashed his face on the ground and bled EVERYWHERE. Nothing happened and it was unnecessarily hyped up. Becca and Chris had to keep their composure talking about this “serious” injury.
Lincoln: “There’s blood everywhere… I just hope he makes it….”

Then on the second group date, NFL player Clay appeared to hurt his wrist. Viewers didn’t see him hurt his wrist so everyone assumed it was no big deal. Fans loved that he was appearing to fake an injury for Becca’s attention.

Two guys sent to the hospital in a single episode and not a single fist fight #TheBachelorette pic.twitter.com/rTUsfAb7Mv

But then it turns out he actually did hurt his wrist and left the show to get surgery. He’s a professional football player, after all, so he needs to heal up quickly before the season.
CLAY IS A PRECIOUS ANGEL AND DOES NOT DESERVE THIS WHY COULDN'T THIS HAPPEN TO ANY OF THE REST OF THE TRASH THERE #TheBachelorette pic.twitter.com/EagcFNKDdC

An intermission, no fights, two ambulances and a fan favorite contestant sent home for an injury. Can this episode just be over? Yup, apparently it can! It abruptly ended with no rose ceremony.
After all of that, no god damn rose ceremony! To say fans were pissed would be an understatement.
NO ROSE CEREMONY?! We're back to this, ABC?! #TheBachelorette pic.twitter.com/wCtQs2Lwwh

Basically to sum it all up:
I’m so done with #TheBachelorette tonight.
A news interruption.
No rose ceremony.
And the dramatic fight that led to the ER was really just someone falling out of bed.
I can’t. pic.twitter.com/6fOvEHtjO1
