It’s also an exciting night for the actors who will be taking home their first Emmy ever. Westworld
Newton has been nominated for her role as Maeve Millay on Westworld. This her second Emmy nomination, the first being last year when she was nominated for the same role in the same category.

Killing Eve
Oh has been nominated for five Emmys as supporting actress for her role on Grey’s Anatomy. She was robbed every time and never took home an Emmy. She is now nominated for lead actress in a drama for Killing Eve becoming the first Asain actress to be nominated for the category.

Insecure
Rae has been nominated for her first Emmy for her role as Issa on Insecure. The show was created by Rae and Larry Wilmore.

Black-ish
This is Ross’ second Emmy nomination for her role as Bow Johnson on Black-ish.

The Americans
Russell is nominated for her role in The Americans as Elizabeth Jennings. This is her third Emmy nomination for this role and the last she can receive considering the show just wrapped its final season.

Atlanta
Beetz is nominated for her role as Van, Earn’s baby mama and on-again-off-again girlfriend, on Atlanta. This is her first Emmy nomination ever.

GLOW
Gilpin is nominated for her role as Debbie a.k.a Liberty Belle on Netflix’s GLOW. This her first Emmy nomination ever.

Bryant, a series regular on SNL, is nominated for her first individual Emmy. She was previously nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for “Home for the Holiday (Twin Bed).”

This is Foy’s second Emmy nomination for her role as Queen Elizabeth II on Netflix’s The Crown. She’s already won two SAG Awards and one Golden Globe for her role.
