Jenni ‘J-Woww’ Farley Files For Divorce

Jersey Shore‘s Jenni Farley a.k.a J-Woww has filed for divorce from her husband Roger Mathews. The couple were married for almost three years and started dating while Farley was filming the original Jersey Shore.

Farley filed for divorce on September 12 and cites “irreconcilable differences” according to Ashbury Park Press. In her divorce filing, she claims that the two have been at odds for over six months and there is not a chance they will reconcile their issues.

“The Plaintiff and the Defendant have irreconcilable differences which have caused the breakdown of the marriage for a period of at least six months which make it appear that the marriage should be dissolved and that there is no prospect of reconciliation,” her complaint reads.

Farley and Matthews have two kids together, a 4-year-old daughter, Melani, and a 2-year-old boy, Grayson. In her divorce filing, Farley filed for joint custody for the kids but as primary residential rights. She is also seeking child support and healthcare from Matthews.

The couple were married in November 2015 but met while out partying in Seaside Heights while Farley was filming season one of Jersey Shore. They dated throughout the show and eventually got engaged during her spin-off show with Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Snooki & J-Woww. Matthews has yet to appear on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation and it’s doubtful that he ever will.

Since their divorce has gone public Matthews has posted a video of himself on his Instagram declaring that he’ll win back Farley. “My wife filed for divorce, it’s true,” he declared. “I don’t blame her. There’s no cheating or any dumb s**t or any juicy details. She just grew tired of the repetitive pattern that we fell into… and [it was] not a good one.”

“I’m not done fighting,” he told his fans. “I’m going to win my wife back. I’m going to win her affection back. I’m going to win her love back. I have no intention of being a single dad. We are in counseling, so there is hope. It ain’t over until the fat lady sings.”
