Season three of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend ended with Rachel finally taking ownership of all the crazy things she’s done. She finally came clean to her friends about all the insane stuff she’s done and gotten away with. They are rightfully mad, but Rebecca still cares for them.
Rebecca goes to Nathaniel’s party because she realizes her crazy ex-boyfriend Trent is going to try and kill him. Rebecca pushes him off the roof in to save Trent’s life. He doesn’t die, but she does get charged with second-degree attempted murder.
Instead of pleading insanity or making up an excuse she takes ownership of her actions and pleads guilty. Season four, the final season of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, starts off with Rebecca in jail trying to convince herself she wants to be there.
