Kehlani just broke some huge news on Instagram, she’s pregnant!
The singer wrote that she always wanted to be open and honest with fans and hiding her pregnancy was the hardest thing she’s had to do.
“If you know me, you know I’ve dreamt about motherhood since I was very young,” she wrote on Instagram. “When asked what my goals are, it’s always the idea of a big healthy happy family & whatever comes along is a plus.”
Kehlani went on to write that she is pregnant with her partner, who she didn’t name, and never believed she’d been with a man ever again. She said she had a traumatic experience with a man that led her to be afraid of them. She said she’d tell that whole story another time.
Her last partner was Dave East, but they broke up in May 2018.
“Dearest little girl, I am so proud to be your mommy,” Kehlani posted. “I am so proud to have received you. I cannot wait to meet you, I know you will be 50,000 times more special than I can even imagine at this moment.
She went on to say she’s going to document her pregnant journey and she is four months pregnant.
