Graham Colton is a singer-songwriter from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma who is Clarkson’s first reported major relationship after winning American Idol. The Idol winner reported to US Weekly in 2005 that they could not handle the long-distance relationship after their tour together ended. She was quoted as saying, “”He was in the studio, and we didn’t even see each other. We were both like, ‘This Doesn’t make sense,'”. Their breakup appeared to be on mutual terms, and they decided to continue to be friends afterward.

Voice Judge and Pop Queen, Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock have been married since October 20th, 2013. Blackstock is more recently known for his work on Clarkson’s show, The Kelly Clarkson Show that debuts in 2019, and Blake Shelton Live: It’s All About Tonight, which aired in 2010.
However, long before they met he was known as Rebba McEntire’s stepson and the son of McEntire, Clarkson, and Rascall Flatt’s manager. All she knew was that he was a guy from her hometown, and caught her interest. She told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show, “I didn’t really know he was [my manager’s] son and it was kind of weird. I was like ‘dude, I gotta know that guy.’ We were just in a room together, and then he came up and said he was from the same hometown as me and I was like, ‘oh we’re so getting married,’ I was so that girl. When he became single, I was on the prowl.” In fact, when the couple met on tour, Clarkson’s now-husband was married to Melissa Ashworth who is the mother of Clarkson’s current two step-children.
Regardless of the initial complications of when the Texas-based duo met, he was single when the couple re-connected at the Superbowl. After that moment they the rest was history. They dated for a year in 2011 and were engaged December 2012.
Clarkson became a step-mom to Blackstock’s kids when they married at Blackberry Farm in Walland, Tennessee. Altogether the couple has 4 children: step-children, Savannah and Seth and the two children they had together after they married, River Rose and Remington Alexander. She told People magazine, “I know it sounds silly but kids teach you to be a better human. They’re watching every moment, not only me at home but me sitting here with y’all.”
Her mother-in-law connections with Reba McEntire have come full circle not only with meeting her husband but now as a judge of The Voice. They also performed together in this year, 2018 Academy of Country Music Awards as well as in 2007. They even toured together in 2008 for 2 Worlds 2 Voices Tour, and McEntire has recently said he hopes they can tour together again.
