Halloween is over which means most people are jumping over Thanksgiving right to Christmas, at least that is what Starbucks is doing. The coffee company announced their 2018 holiday cups. This year’s cups have a twist, not all of them are red.

Starbucks announced there will be four holiday cups. Two of them are red while the other two are green. The 2018 Starbucks Holiday cups will hit stores on November 2. “We started this season by looking to the past,” said Kristy Cameron from the Starbucks Creative Studio. The company used their past and nostalgia to create the four new holiday cup patterns.

One of the red designs is called “Stripes” and it has “graphic bands of bright poppy red and a darker cranberry, accented with white pale rose gold.” This cup was inspired by the design of the Starbucks coffee bags.

The other red cup is called “Espresso Houndstooth” and features a red and white houndstooth-inspired pattern. “Designers used fire to represent this rich, dark roast, and reimagined it as an elegant flame in the red and white retro Espresso Houndstooth design.”

One of the green cups is called “Flora” and the pattern looks similar to mistletoes, but it’s actually the coffee cherry and mint leaves! “In a nod to Starbucks coffee heritage, the Flora design features mint-green graphic leaves with pops of colorful bright red berries against a cream colored background.”

While the other green cup, “Stargyle” is a diamond pattern of different shades of green with a star that is from their logo. The cup’s pattern is described as, “stars twinkle a backdrop of interlinking diamonds in varying shades of Starbucks green.”

The back of each cup features a black, white and green ribbon.

On top of the holiday cups, Starbucks will also offer a limited edition red reusable cup. On November 2 these red reusable cups will be free to whoever buys a holiday drink. And when you use your red reusable cup from November 3 to January 7 after 2 P.M. you’ll get 50 cents off your grande sized holiday drink.

Speaking of holiday drinks, this is the official list of holiday drinks coming to Starbucks this year. Peppermint Mocha, Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, Caramel Brulee Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, Gingerbread Latte and Eggnog Latte. On top of these drinks, Starbucks’ Christmas Blend will be coming back.

Time to get your holiday cheer on!
