Rob Kardashian is having some financial issues. On top of filing for less child support, and trying to get Blac Chyna to pay him for child support, he has sold his sock line Arthur George to his momager, Kris Jenner.
All of Kardashian’s legal issues with his baby’s mom, Chyna is getting in the way of his business being successful. Right now the former couple is in court sorting out child custody, child support and more.
According to The Blast, Kardashian claims that his mother had to float the company and now owns half of Arthur George.
“When the business was struggling, my mother infused it with capital to keep it afloat and from her infusion gained a 50% share in the company,” the documents states.
“Previously, the lines’ success was in large part due to my regular posting and general promotion on social media. [Blac Chyna’s] request for a restraining order against me includes various prohibitions on what I could post online,” the document continues. “In order to avoid any potential future issues, I nearly eliminated my social media presence.”
If you do recall, in summer 2017 Kardashian posted nude photos and revenge porn of Chyna on his Instagram, thus getting his account shut down. So it’s uncertain why he thinks he willingly “eliminated” his social media.
The documents point out that his lack of social media has also hindered his ability to gain endorsement deals and do brand deals. He claims that his finances are so bad that he had to move back in with his mom.
“My income now is insufficient to pay for my expenses,” Kardashian claims. “As of Jan. 17, 2018, I am short nearly $300,000 which my accountant projects I will need to pay for my 2017 tax liabilities. I no longer own a home. I now live in my mother’s home.”
Jenner backs up her only son’s claims. In her declaration, she states, “I helped Robert with his sock line business, Arthur George. I infused the business with capital, purchased goods, and set up distribution and fulfillment centers amongst other tasks. In exchange for the work I did and the money I put in, I acquired 50% interest in the business.”
Yikes, looks like Kardashian could use some money from his family.
