Kim Porter is a model and mother who unfortunately passed away in 2018. Porter died from on November 15, 2018, from unknown causes. She supposedly went into cardiac arrest and was recently diagnosed with pneumonia. She was found dead at her home in Toluca Lake, California.
Porter is the mother to five children, Quincy, Christian Casey Combs, Jessie James Combs and D’Lila Star Combs. Quincy is her only son whose biological dad isn’t Sean Combs a.k.a Diddy. But Diddy raised Quincy and eventually adopted Quincy.

Porter and Diddy began dating in 1994 and from there started a long on again off again relationship. They welcomed their first child Christian Casey in 1998. but shortly after in 1999 they broke up. The parents fought for custody and child support over Christian.
Diddy and Porter reconciled and got back together in 2003. In 2006 they welcomed their twin daughters D’Lila Star and Jessie James. Despite having three kids together the couple never got married.

“I know she deserves to get married, but I’m just not ready,” Diddy told Essence in December 2006. “It’s not a reflection on how much I love Kim. It’s that I’m just learning how to be a good boyfriend. When I’m finished with this step, I’ll move on to the next”
The couple split up for the final time in 2007. Porter revealed that while Diddy was out of town she packed up all of her things.
“I wanted to be dramatic. I wanted him to know I wasn’t breaking up with him for two weeks — or maybe leaving for two days. If I pack up everything — twins and all — it means I’m out! Puffy’s an action person, not a talk person. So I had to have an action. Telling him, ‘Babe, I’m leaving,’ was not gonna do it,'” she explained to Essence.
Diddy cheated on Porter, which pushed her to break up with him. She was pregnant with the twins when she found out Diddy impregnated another woman around the same time.
Despite the cheating and the few half-siblings, Diddy and Porter were able to raise their children together and be great co-parents. They call each other best friends. Porter would regularly post photos of their modern family all together on Instagram.

Since her unexpected passing Diddy has been sharing photos of Kim and their family on social media. He wrote, “For the last three days I’ve been trying to wake up out of this nightmare. But I haven’t. I don’t know what I’m going to do without you baby. I miss you so much. Today I’m going to pay tribute to you, I’m going to try and find the words to explain our unexplainable relationship. We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates. Porter dated actor Jackie Long for two years. When they first started seeing each other there were rumors going around that Diddy sent Long death threats. The two continued to date despite the rumors and possible threats. They eventually broke up in 2012.
