An Australian bride has gone viral for being a total savage on her wedding day. When she found out on her wedding day that her fiancé cheated on her, she decided to read all of the receipts on the altar during their wedding. She read all of the texts in front of him, his family and his friends.
The woman, who remained anonymous, explained how the whole day went down and why she decided to air our her fiancé’s infidelity.
The anonymous woman changed her ex-fiancé’s husband to Alex and broke down the entire story for Whimn, an Australian website. They were together for six years before she broke up with him at their wedding.
The night before her wedding, while in a hotel room with her friends, the bride got a text from a random number that read “I wouldn’t marry him. Will you?” accompanied by screenshots.
“The screenshots were of conversations between my husband-to-be and another woman. loads of them, including selfies of the pair,” she recounted. “The texts were dated from months to only days before. My brain simply couldn’t not compute WTF was going on. There was no questioning the legitimacy of these messages. I just knew.”
At first, she didn’t know what to do. Her friends were all telling her to call Alex immediately and call off the wedding. She eventually came to the conclusion to expose him during what should have been their wedding.
“I walked down the aisle with leaden feet, my dream dress now just a costume. As he saw my face he knew this was no an ecstatic woman on her big day, but he had no idea what was coming. I arrived at the front of the room, took a big breath and I faced our friends, our parents and I told them the truth about Alex.”
She announced that their wedding guests that there won’t be a wedding. She pulled out her phone and read out loud every screenshot she received, “With each word, more color left Alex’s face.”
Alex left the church with his best man while the almost bride hijacked their reception and threw a “celebration of honesty, finding true love and following your heart even when it hurts.”
