With The Voice season 15 coming to an end, it’s time for some sneak peeks for the upcoming season 16!
NBC has announced Thursday, December 13 that John Legend will be joining The Voice as a coach for season 16, which will debut in spring 2019. According to People, Legend will be replacing Jennifer Hudson to join returning coaches Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, as well as the host Carson Daly.

Right before this exciting news, Legend, 39, has just become one of the youngest people to achieve EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony) status.
Legend won his Oscar in 2015 for his original song “Glory” for Selma, and scored a Tony in 2017 for producing the revival of August Wilson’s Jitney. Legend has also scored 10 Grammys over the course of his music career. He also has a chance to win a second Emmy, for lead performance in Jesus Christ Superstar.
