America’s Got Talent: The Champions is bringing back many favorites from the past 14 seasons–including winners, finalists and others who America instantly fell in love with. You no longer have to wait until summer to watch your favorite variety show, thanks to NBC’s new spinoff coming in this winter.

“On AGT Champions, there are all people that have made history,” judge Howie Mendel said in a new sneak peek of the season.

Heidi Klum added: “The champions [are] the best of the best. …These people will always be in my heart.”

Terry Crews Will Be The Host Of AGT: The Champions

As announced in September 2018, the Brooklyn Nine-Nine actor will be leading the show in winter 2019. According to Deadline, NBC’s plan is for Tyra Banks to do the summer edition of AGT and for Terry to do the winter version.

“I am so proud and honored to join Simon, Mel, Heidi, and Howie in hosting the #1 alternative series on television,” Crews announced on his Instagram page. “Now America’s got Terry Crews!”

AGT: The Champions Competitors Are All Over The World

America’s Got Talent: The Champions will not just showcase the very best from the U.S. Good House Keeping reports that the show will also pull top acts from the global version of the Got Talent franchise as well. That means the new series could include winners from Britain’s Got TalentGot Talent Portugal, Belgium’s Got Talent, Sri Lanka’s Got Talent and more from around the world.

“I have always wanted to have a competition show for the very best of the best Got Talent acts from around the world,” Simon Cowell proclaimed in a statement when announcing the show. “The variety and the talents of the acts who enter Got Talent globally are incredible and unbelievable.”

Contestants From Past AGT Seasons

The premise is to round up some of the winners and most notable contestants from seasons 1-13 and have them face off head-to-head to see who is the ultimate top act.

According to USA Today, among those coming back include Darci Lynne Farmer, Shin Lim (the latest winner of AGT), Kseniya Simonova, DJ Arch Jnr., Paul Zerdin, Justice Crew, Moonlight Brothers, Piff the Magic Dragon, Sofie Dossi and many more.
