The couple made a big step and got legally married in late 2018, but they’re still planning on having a religious ceremony with their friends and families. Why did they get married a courthouse so quickly? Who knows.
What we do know is that the Biebers have pushed back their religious wedding ceremony. According to a source from People, the couple wanted to get their religious ceremony done early in the year but have pushed it back.
“They’ve been figuring out the perfect time to do it, and they both feel like the sooner, the better,” the source told People. “They’re still figuring it out.”
The couple were originally planning on having their religious ceremony in January but have decided to push it back a month to February.
“They’re working with the schedules of all their friends and family to make sure they can be surrounded by the people they love,” added the source. “There’s no real rush. They’re already legally married, but they’re very excited about throwing a celebration with their loved ones.”
The insider continued, “They’re going to have a big blowout, in front of God and everyone they love.”
The couple got married in a secret ceremony in September 2018. The couple went to a New York courthouse to exchange vows. Rumors were flying that they were married and Hailey confirmed the news be changing her Instagram handle from @HaileyBaldwin to @HaileyBieber.
The couple are going strong and just want their religious ceremony to be perfect.
