Grapevine Middle School and Cross Timbers Middle School in Texas are being evacuated after receiving a “threat” through the front office.
At this time, the students and staff at the schools have been evacuated and law enforcement is on site to investigate.
It appears that a bomb threat was made against the schools via telephone. Following the threat, the two schools were evacuated around 9 a.m. local time.
The Grapevine-Colleyville school district tweeted a statement saying that Cross Timbers Middle Schoo students have been evacuated to the Mustang Activity Center and Grapevine Middle School students are currently being evacuated and moving onto buses.
Additionally, the school asked parents to avoid trying to pick up their children as to “ensure” their safety.
Grapevine Middle School and Cross Timbers Middle School received a threat through the front office. Our students have evacuated and law enforcement is on site to investigate.

At this time, police say that all students and staff that were inside the two middle schools are safe.
