Top 5 Ways To Celebrate Valentine’s Day If You’re Single

You don’t have to be in a relationship to have a good Valentine’s Day. Here are the top 5 ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day if you’re single!

1. Take a fun class.

Of course, I don’t mean an algebra class! Look online and find a class to take with your friends. Be the next Bob Ross and take a painting class, find a new favorite recipe to try at a cooking class, or get some exercise in with a fun workout class. You’ll learn something new, and you’ll have a great time with your friends.

2. Relax with an at-home spa night.

Clear your calendar for the night and get ready for a night of relaxation. Run to a store and pick up the necessities: face masks, nail polish, and chocolates. Turn on your favorite cheesy movie (I suggest Legally Blonde) and light a relaxing candle for your in-home spa session. Invite a few of your friends… or spend some much needed time by yourself.

3. DIY your favorite treats.

You don’t need a romantic partner to have delicious chocolates and candies. Make some chocolate-covered strawberries or cupcakes! Make enough to share with friends and family… or eat them all by yourself. This is the perfect way to show love to yourself and to others, plus who doesn’t love sweet treats?

4. Pick up your favorite meal.

Just because you don’t have dinner plans doesn’t mean you can’t have delicious food! Obviously, many restaurants will be busy on Valentine’s Day, but you can call the restaurant or order online. Reach out to a friend who also doesn’t have plans so you can enjoy the food and the company.

5. Have a trivia night.

Find a restaurant that has trivia, or host your own! Invite your friends to this unexpected game night and coordinate matching clothes and a team name. You’ll have a ton of fun guessing the answers, and you may even walk away with some prizes.
