Jason Vanderee has been identified as the 29-year-old New Jersey man who allegedly killed three people in Wayne, New Jersey while driving his car under the influence of drugs.
According to a report from the North Jersey Record, Vanderee was driving on Route 23 in Wayne, New Jersey “at an excessive speed” when he hit three parked cars at a Delta gas station, killing three people.
The victims have since been identified as 50-year-old Jon Warbeck, his 17-year-old son Luke Warbeck, and 22-year-old Lovedeep Fatra.

The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office said that Vanderee — who is from nearby Vernon Township — was arrested and charged with three counts of first-degree aggravated manslaughter, three counts of first-degree death by auto while driving intoxicated within 1,000 feet of school property, three counts of second-degree death by auto, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of hypodermic needles, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The arrest affidavit said that Vanderee was “exhibiting signs of being under the influence of opiates” and was given Narcan by responding emergency personnel.
After the crash, Vanderee — who was previously cited for driving under the influence in November 2016 and April 2017 — was taken to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center. After being given treatment, he was transported to the Passaic County Jail by the Wayne Police Department.
Following a search by police, Heroin and hypodermic needles were found on his person and in his car.
