Ariana Grande has teamed up with her beloved Starbucks to endorse their new Cloud Macchiato drink. On Tuesday, Starbucks and Ariana Grande announced the new caffeinated beverage.
Grande shared snaps of her sipping on the iced drink with a metal straw on her Twitter. She also revealed that she is an official Starbucks ambassador.
The partnership seems only natural. Grande is constantly photographed with a Starbucks cup in hand and even stopped by the store while filming her latest Carpool Karaoke episode with James Corden.
According to Starbucks’ press release, the Cloud Macchiato comes in two flavors, Caramel and Cinnamon. So what is a Cloud Macchiato? It’s similar to a regular macchiato but instead, the traditional layer of milk on top is whipped and frothy.
“So light it might just fly away, the Cloud Macchiato features a cloud of whipped cold milk foam that’s light and smooth, topped with espresso shots and finished with Starbucks signature caramel drizzle cross-hatch.”
The drink can be enjoyed hot or iced and will be a permanent addition to the Starbucks menu.
“The newest addition to the Starbucks Menu draws inspiration from the leche merengada, or “meringue milk,” a summer drink from the cafés of Barcelona, Spain that dates back centuries,” the press release reads.
The Cloud Macchiato isn’t the only new menu item coming to the coffee chain. They’ll be adding Matcha Lattes and Frappuccinos, Cold Brew with Cascara Cold Foam and Lemon Cake Pops.
Now we just need an Ariana Grande Latte, Frappuccino and Cold Brew beverage.
