According to the Daily Mail, The vlogger and influencer was on an episode of Tap That Awesome App for a now obsolete Verizon mobile phone channel. Olivia was joined by another influencer Marissa Rachel and singer Rydel Lynch.

Rachel was declared the winner of the game show in front of a live audience. Rachel claims that studio execs stepped in an ordered the producers to re-shoot the final questions so Olivia would win.

Rachel says she and Rydel were instructed to not buzz in and let Olivia take the first price, a total of $5,000 donated to the charity of her choice.

“I have nothing against Olivia, I’ve met her on several occasions and she’s perfectly nice. But what happened just didn’t seem right to me,” Rachel told Daily Mail. “I definitely won by a significant amount.”

Daily Mail also talked to a production source who confirmed the cheating.

“They compete in the first round and Marissa Rachel won,” the production source said. “She answered the most questions right and was declared the winner in front of a live studio audience of about 25 people as well as dozens of other crew members. The host announced her as the winner and everyone applauded and cheered.”

“But right after Marissa was declared the winner, two studio executives suddenly came on set and stopped the shoot and said, ‘We have to film it again with Olivia as the winner,'” the source continued.

They went on to say that everyone was confused because Marissa won, but execs said they made a scoring mistake and Olivia was the real winner.

“While they were re-shooting, Marissa and Rydel were instructed not to buzz in with the correct answers so that Olivia could answer and win. They then re-filmed the scene with Olivia announced as the winner, and instructed the studio audience to cheer and clap for Olivia,” the source concluded.

Rachel said during re-shoots she had to say false answers so Olivia could win. The reason why they wanted Olivia to win is unknown.
