It’s been five years since Justin Bieber has owned a permanent home in Los Angeles. All of that changed thanks to his new married life with Hailey Bieber (nee Baldwin). The couple who have been shopping for a home for a few months finally settled down and purchased an $8.5 million mansion in Beverly Hills, California.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the Bieber’s new home is a 1930s Monterey Colonial that was recently “reimagined” by production designer Charles Infante. The reno kept the shell of the home while modernizing the interior and the outdoor space.
The home is over 6,100 square feet and boasts five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a library and a huge kitchen with a center island. There are steel framed windows scattered around the house to help bring the outdoors indoors.
The Bieber’s new home has a wine bar, wine cellar, home theater, sunken living room, a cabana, a fire pit, a zero-edge swimming pool and olive trees. The listing for the home describes it as, “old Hollywood glamour mixed with casual California living.
Bieber hasn’t owned a home in Los Angeles since 2014 when he sold his former home to Kourtney Kardashian. Justin was staying in rental home and hotels these last five years. The couple was renting a 6,000 square feet home in San Fernando Valley for $100,000 a month. The home has four bedrooms and seven baths.
In October 2018, Justin and Hailey were considering buying Demi Lovato’s old home where she overdosed. The couple was seen touring Lovato’s former Hidden Hills home that was listed for $8.955 million. They ultimately ended up not purchasing the four bedrooms, five baths, 5,546 square foot home.
