Yesterday the dramatic trailer for Keeping Up With The Kardashians season 16 dropped. The trailer for the upcoming season is mostly about the family’s reaction to the Tristan Thompson and Jordyn Woods cheating drama.
“It just sucks it has to be so public. I’m not just a TV show, this is my life,” Khloe Kardashian says through tears in the trailer. “Sometimes the world forgets to be kind, and that we’re all going through something.”
There are also scenes of her screaming into her phone, “My family was ruined!” and “Liar!”
Kylie Jenner doesn’t have any teary-eyed talking heads about her best friend’s betrayal. There’s a shot of Kylie and Jordyn celebrating their Kylie Cosmetics makeup collaboration. Later on, Kylie says, “I just hope that there is a light at the end of this tunnel but I don’t see it right now.”
A source told Us Weekly that Kylie stopped filming after Jordyn’s cheating drama because she was so devastated.
“Kylie took a little break from filming Keeping Up With the Kardashians and recently got back into filming and it’s been a struggle and difficult,” the insider revealed. “She was very upset about the situation with Jordyn and also just didn’t want to deal with it and have to address it.”
Kylie continued filming a few weeks after the drama went down. The friends are still in limbo and haven’t made amends since Kylie kicked Jordyn out of her house.
The cheating drama happened in mid-February. Jordyn went to a party at Tristan’s house. Jordyn says when she left to go home Tristan kissed her on the lips. She initially didn’t tell Kylie and Khloe about the kiss because she was scared.
“I just knew how much turmoil was going on that I was like ‘let me not just throw more fuel on the fire,’” Jordyn said on Red Table Talk. “I know I was trying to protect Khloe’s heart. She doesn’t deserve this either. People have dehumanized her in this situation where they can’t feel for her and it’s not fair that she has to deal with this either.”
