Pretty Little Liars was Freeform’s biggest hit. Premiering in 2010, the show first started out as four friends receiving mysterious text messages from “A” and trying to uncover the secrets behind their friend’s murder. Throughout seven seasons and 160 episodes, there were numerous deaths, relationships, heartbreaks, and mysteries. Fans theorized over who could be torturing their favorite characters and why, with multiple identities being revealed since the start of the show. When the series eventually ended in June 2017, fans were crushed their favorite show was over. It didn’t take long for PLL creator, I. Marlene King, to start work on a spin-off, Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists, set about a year or two after the events of its predecessor and starring two of its alums. Premiering March 20, 2019, with a new plot, new death, new city, and new characters, the world of Pretty Little Liars just got bigger and more mysterious.
