Carly Rae Jepsen ‘Dedicated’ Album & Tour: Must-See Details

Canadian singer Carly Rae Jepsen, who first made it big with her catchy hit “Call Me Maybe” in 2012, is back with new music and tour. The new album, Dedicated, is the highly anticipated follow-up to her 2015 album, E•MO•TION, which had the hits “Run Away With Me” and “I Really Like You.”

Carly made the announcement on Twitter on April 1, tweeting the name of the album, the album cover, and the release date, which will be Friday, May 17.

There has not been an official tracklist yet, but a press release confirms that new songs “Now That I Found You” and “No Drug Like Me” will be included.

Along with the album, there will also be The Dedicated Tour. Starting on June 27, Jepsen will be making stops in 30 cities across the U.S. including Anaheim, Denver, New York, and New Orleans before ending the tour in Los Angeles on August 10. No opening act has been announced yet.

In case you’re not familiar with Jepsen, she rose to fame in 2012 when Justin Bieber heard her song “Call Me Maybe” on a Canadian radio station and signed her to his label. The song was everywhere and was included in the 2012 YouTube Rewind video. She opened up for Bieber on his Believe Tour that year after releasing her album Kiss. Since then, she’s gone on multiple tours including one with the now-broken-up British group The Wanted and Katy Perry, opening for her on her WITNESS Tour and released two sides of her E•MO•TIONalbum in 2015. She also released songs for the movie Leap! and sings the Fuller House theme song.
